"Look, I know what happened with mom -- but the world's ending. Come to the cabin. Bring your physics textbooks, bring some canned goods, find a gun if you can. We need you now."

The Last Caravan is a cars and aliens tabletop role-playing game about a midwinter road trip in the wake of an alien invasion. Starting from the East Coast, you and your fellow travelers will navigate a shattered North America. You’ll explore landscapes transformed by xenoflora, search abandoned towns and crashed spaceships, discover the otherworldly technology called Harmonics, negotiate with newly-formed factions both human and alien, outrun hostile pursuers, and fight for the future of your world.

Your story is about normal people finding heroism under extraordinary pressures. It’s about relationships tested by a crisis, and rediscovering what matters when the world is ending.

Your people need you. Will you join the caravan?

A Most Excellent Experience! The game quickly immersed us in its setting and atmosphere. The concept of playing as survivors on a road trip really resonated with the players. While aliens never directly appeared during the short campaign, the constant references and anticipation of their presence created a tense and suspenseful atmosphere, even without explicit encounters. Then the mechanics of the game really helped drive home (pun) the road trip experience. Characters and their abilities were very smooth but dynamic enough to keep senior players and junior players entertained and present. Overall the "road trip" & "alien apocalypse" story links combined with the game phase mechanics really created a memorable organic team like chemistry that we will always share... like any good road trip does.

What a beautiful description. Thanks for sharing your experience, and for supporting the game from early on! Hope you all get a chance to play around with some of the more overt alien element sometime. Would love to hear what you think.
